Apple iPhone 5C |
Save some green on the colorful new iPhone 5C at three big-box retailers.
Walmart is selling the Apple iPhone 5C for $45 after Best Buy and Radio Shack announced they would sell phones for $50. Walmart's trade-in program also offers up to $300 for old hardware. Best Buy's offer runs through Monday. Radio Shack's through Nov. 2.
The price cut, more than half off the suggested retail of $99, is good on 2-year upgrades or new contracts with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. Walmart had been selling the colorful new phones for $79, as does Target.
Walmart dropped its price after Best Buy and Radio Shack announced free $50 gift-card programs on the hot new polycarbonate-backed phones, introduced in September.
